Not affiliated with Discord

Clmify is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord Inc. Discord and the Discord logo are trademarks of Discord Inc. We use the name Discord only to describe which usernames the Service checks.

What a result means

A check shows the status of a name at the moment of the check. Names change hands all the time, so a name that was free a minute ago may already be taken.

Discord may refuse a name even when it follows the published rules, for example when a word is reserved. We show such a name as taken or with an unclear answer.

We do not promise that you will be able to claim any name you find with the Service.

Personal drops and the public feed

A personal drop is offered only to you for 15 minutes. In that time someone else may still find the same name on their own. Names in the public feed were found earlier and may already be taken.

Your Discord account

The Service never claims names for you and never needs your Discord password or token. Checking a name does not touch your Discord account. You claim names yourself, in Discord, under Discord's rules.

Changes on Discord's side

Discord may change how usernames work or limit the checks the Service relies on at any time, without notice to us. In that case the Service may slow down or stop working. We will tell you if that happens.

Guides

Our guides describe Discord as it works at the time of writing. Discord may change its apps and settings; follow what you see in Discord if it differs from a guide.
