Cookie policy
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Clmify uses as few of them as it can: to keep you signed in, to remember your language, to protect the site from bots and, only if you allow it, for analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.
1. Necessary cookies
These cookies are needed for the site to work. They do not need your consent.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in | 30 days |
better-auth.two_factor | Remembers that you entered your password while you type the two-factor code | 10 minutes |
better-auth.trust_device | Skips the two-factor code on this device, if you choose so | 30 days |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you picked | Until you close the browser |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Set by Cloudflare to tell people from bots and to block attacks | 30 minutes |
On the live site, the names of sign-in cookies start with __Secure-. This means the browser sends them only over HTTPS.
When you pay by card, Paddle opens its checkout window and may set its own cookies there. They are covered by Paddle's cookie policy.
2. Analytics cookies
We use PostHog Cloud EU to see which pages and features are used, so we can improve them.
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ph_<project key>_posthog | Tells visits apart and links them to your account after you sign in | 1 year |
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, this cookie is set only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you decline, PostHog counts visits without cookies, using a hash that changes every day and cannot recognize you on later days.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or cookies from social networks.
3. Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the sign-in cookie, you will be signed out.
4. More about your data
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
The English version of this policy is the binding one. Versions in other languages are translations for your convenience.
